J Robin Dixon and Son

Through hosting a website for the Isle of Rona and providing telephone and remote support, GML was chosen by parent company J Robin Dixon and Son for support when computer problems developed at the Scotland-based company.

Despite the distance between the two companies, both telephone and remote control support ensured problems were attended to swiftly with minimal disruption.

Following this, new workstations were remotely installed at the company.

When J Robin Dixon then needed a new server, GML remained their choice. The new server was configured at our premises in Essex and couriered up to Scotland.

The remaining installation was performed remotely, including configuring all the client machines.

The deployment went flawlessly and goes to show that the physical location of clients is no obstacle to GML support or even to new hardware provision.

Provided internet services and hosting for the website of the organisation to which J Robin Dixon is the parent company.

Utilised and modified existing connection equipment to facilitate remote control support.

Ongoing day-to-day technical support for users via remote-control and telephone.
